| Summer is officially here and that means plenty of warm temperatures and family fun at the Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa. The city of Rancho Mirage, just east of Palm Springs and home to the Westin Mission Hills is once again offering the Family Fun Summer Passport program through September 12th. Children under 12 will eat for free at eleven Rancho Mirage restaurants including favorites Applebee's, Las Casuelas Nuevas, The Slice Pizzeria and Babe's BBQ. The passport also offers free admission for kids to Palm Springs attractions such as the Living Desert, the Palm Springs Art Museum and the Children's Discovery Museum. Your passport can be obtained at our front desk, please be sure to ask for it when you arrive. The Westin Mission Hills is very proud of our Fun Team. Yes that's right, we have our very own Fun Team lead by Lori Mantz. Lori and her team excel at providing exciting, original and captivating activity programs that are fun and even educational. All of our activities can be accessed by visiting the Family page of this website, www.westionmissionhills.com. Here you will find program schedules and locations as well as a complete list of what we are offering. Check back often as the team is always coming up with great, fresh ideas..and the activities are not just for the kids, my personal favorite are the Hula lessons! The Show is the desert's hottest live entertainment theater featuring top name entertainment and sporting events. An easy five minute drive from the Westin makes an evening out that much more enjoyable. Upcoming events this summer include HBO After Dark Championship Boxing, Jackson Browne, Martina McBride, REO Speedwagon, Ringo Starr, Billy Idol, Ted Nugent and Sheryl Crow.
