Family Fun Activities
The Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa has a Director of Fun to help put together great activities for both parents and kids to enjoy your stay even more at the Resort. Use the below calendar and list of other events to see what is happening during your stay. Don't be afraid to ask upon check-in about any of the events.
Regular on-going Family Activities
WII TOURNAMENTS:
Show off your wii skills in a fast-paced tournament of bowling, golf, baseball or golf! Tournaments are held weekly (days & times are subject to change) in our Westin Kids Club Discovery Room. No fee. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
SNOW CONES WITH THE FUN TEAM: (select Saturdays; April - September. Please check calendar above for dates & times)
Design your own wacky, colorful, snow cone creation with members of the Fun Team! You'll have plenty of fun flavors to choose from & meet some new friends! Fee: $3.00 per snow cone.
SPLASH-IN MOVIES: (select Saturdays; June - August. Please check calendar above for dates & times)
What better way to watch your favorite movies on a big screen floating around in our beautiful Las Brisas Pool. The stars on the big screen or complimented by the stars in the desert sky.
POOL GAMES AT LAS BRISAS:
Join us for complimentary children's activities held daily at our Las Brisas Pool to include activities such as: Limbo, Treasure Dives, Biggest Splash Contests, Fastest Slide Contests, Hula Hoop Contests, H20 Balloon Toss, etc. (Activities subject to change)
BICYCLE RENTALS - Westin Kids Club Discovery Room: (Please see calendar above for Kids Club operating hours)
Bicycle rentals are available on an hourly, daily or weekly basis at our Westin Kids Club Discovery Room, ext. 2181 daily between 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Sun - Thurs) & 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Fri - Sat). Hourly rate: $12.00 per person. Half Day Rate: $25.00 per person. Full Day Rate: $35.00 per person. Weekly Rate: $80.00 per person. All children's rentals (12 & under) are 50% of the adult rates.
TENNIS COURT RESERVATIONS & EQUIPMENT RENTALS - - Westin Kids Club Discovery Room:
Complimentary court reservations can be made at our Westin Kids Club Discovery Room, at (760) 770-2181 daily between 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Courts are reserved on an hourly & first-come, first-served basis. Prior to 9:00 am and after 4:00 pm reservations for courts are not needed. Tennis racquet rentals are available for $10 per day and tennis balls may be purchased for $6.00 for a can of three balls. Tennis lessons, clinics & drill reservations can be made directly with our Head Tennis Professional, Jeff Banwer at (760) 835-6360.
TENNIS LESSONS & CLINICS:
Private lessons & tennis clinics are booked directly with our tennis pro, Jeff Banwer. Jeff has thirty years of tennis experience, both as a nationally ranked NCAA college player as well as teaching professional with sectional, national & world rankings. Be sure to inquire about our daily clinics specifically designed for children (ages 6-11) and teens (ages 12-17). "KIDZ STAY WHILE MOM & DAY PLAY" Discounts
Parents will enjoy a 20% discount off one Westin Kids Club Discovery Room session when enrolled while Mom or Dad play golf or enjoy the Spa at Mission Hills. Tee times and Spa appointments will be confirmed at the time of booking. Advance reservations are required.
