About the Artists
JEFF LORBER
Trailblazing pianist, composer, producer and bandleader Jeff Lorber is a consummate artist who continues to push himself to new plateaus. A groundbreaking Fender Rhodes pioneer along with the likes of Herbie Hancock, Joe Sample and Bob James, Lorber has triumphed as one of the most innovative musical minds in contemporary jazz.
EVERETTE HARP
Everette Harp is an American blues, jazz and gospel saxophonist known for his incorporation of hip-hop and R&B grooves into smooth jazz. Harp has recorded on Blue Note and Capitol Records. His 2006 album, In the Moment, debuted in the number one position of Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz Chart.
PAUL JACKSON, JR.
Paul Jackson, Jr. is a successful grammy nominated artist with seven previous albums and multiple television appearances, and an individual regarded as a highly respected & accomplished musician throughout the entertainment industry.
PETER WHITE
UK smooth jazz and jazz fusion guitarist and songwriter, Peter White is a veteran on the scene. Over the years, Peter White has maintained a reputation as one of the most versatile and prolific acoustic guitarists on the contemporary jazz landscape. Armed with an unparalleled combination of lyricism and energy, he combines elements of jazz, pop and classical guitar to create a sound that is singular and at the same time accessible to a broad audience. He is known for his 20-year collaboration with Al Stewart. In addition, his songs "Midnight in Manhattan", recorded by Grover Washington, Jr. (1998), and "Bright" (2009) have each reached number one on the Billboard Jazz Songs chart.
DAVID BENOIT
Five time Grammy nominated composer and pianist, David Benoit has had an expansive career as a contemporary jazz pianist that has included over 25 charting solo recordings. Benoit's ever-expanding slate of orchestral music endeavors include his ongoing role as conductor of the Asia America Symphony Orchestra and other leading orchestras around the world.
MARC ANTOINE
French guitarist Marc Antoine is a contemporary jazz performer who combines his adept, classically trained chops with a hybrid of multi-cultural influences from flamenco and Afrobeat to hip-hop and R&B. Since emerging as a force in contemporary jazz in the mid-90s with a trademark sound, Marc Antoine has shared his joyous musical wanderlust on a discography infused with extraordinary exotic journeys.
